Berlin Trip Review
In early February, both art and media foundation students went to Berlin for 4 days. I enjoyed myself during this time because I think Berlin is a beautiful city, however I personally think that if the trip was prepared more thoroughly and had more days then I would have gained more from it. We only had two full days to explore the city and go to art exhibitions, which I found limiting because it is a big city with lots to explore. The trip was also very expensive and the only museum that was included was the Reischtag which has no relation to fine art. In my opinion, I did not find this useful for my growth as an illustrator because I am not interested in making art of buildings or about history. The Berlin trip also happened after we finished our final outcomes for the Exhibiton project, so it was difficult to find artworks that could be useful for me in the future if I am unsure about the subjects of my upcoming projects.
